Paul S. Grossman

In over 20 years at Friedman & Wittenstein, Mr. Grossman has represented clients of the firm in a wide variety of matters, with an emphasis on intellectual property and antitrust counseling and litigation. Mr. Grossman has appeared before federal and state courts in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, and Georgia, as well as in both domestic and international arbitrations.

Mr. Grossman's work on behalf of the firm's clients has included participating in a patent infringement trial that resulted in a favorable award of over $200 million; successfully arguing an appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit involving licensing, patent, and antitrust issues; counseling clients in the development of their intellectual property portfolios; and litigating a defense of a patent infringement claim, involving sophisticated financial products, which resulted in the court finding the plaintiff's patent invalid.

Mr. Grossman graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in 1989 and from the Fordham University School of Law in 1992, where he was a Notes and Articles editor of the Law Review. Mr. Grossman is the author of a Note entitled, "Appellate Jurisdiction for Civil Forfeiture: The Case for the Continuation of Jurisdiction Beyond the Release of the Res."
